once upon a hot july morning

Dear Sweet Summertime,

I miss you.
REEeeally miss you.

Although, it's not been super snowy or rainy here,

I miss the days that are blazing hot - yes it's true.
I enjoy those dry, hot, unbearable days
... like this one,
 when the husband cut up his jeans and jumped in the lake.

Gosh, I need to burn that ugly hat...
anyway, I still miss you.
