Med School List

The past few weeks have been stressful to say the least.  May 12th is the big day and approaching very quickly.  That will be the day that Spence will take the MCAT.  Most likely, these coming weeks will be worse than I can already imagine.  So, pray for Spencer ;) Or at least pray that I won't drive him crazy while he studies!  Ah... sorry Sweetums.  

We made this list (schools we plan to apply to) which has helped keep us both sane.  It's not set in stone but it's our light at the end of the tunnel.  Sure, we don't know where we will end up, but I'm not concerned even when we work out the cost of the application process and interviews.
No particular order...

Could I see myself living in any of these places?  Absolutely, yes I can.  Still, I have my "preferred" list and then the "ok" that place will be alright to live.  I just don't want to jinx the application process, which is why I've just made a bullet list rather than ranking them.  I know Spence will do great on the MCAT.  He has already proven his intellect, professionalism and humanitarian side.  Med school here we come.  I don't mean to brag - but, he is awesome and kind of  a big deal.  Hopefully in nine months from now we will know where we are going to be for the next four years.  After that, it will be another big adventure to Surgical Residency. 

Also, if anyone has any advice or tips - we welcome them! The number one tip we have received so far is to apply early.  We plan to have it his application in by June!
