I needed this video today. My family is going through a lot of stress and sadness.
Today my uncle Russ, who suffered from pulmonary embolism last weekend, will be taken off life support. My heart goes out to my aunt and cousins who have endured so much this week.
I have fun memories as a kid in their home, sleeping over, swimming & hot tubing, playing with their dogs & ferret, and playing mario party for hours on end! Earlier this year, we spent time with all the girls at their youngest sister's bridal shower and wedding.
I know that we've all been praying for a miracle.
It's so easy to fear the unexpected. At least for me, when I feel sad I often tie that emotion to fear of what I've lost or what I do not know is going to come. Fortunately, there are wiser people in this world that share beautiful messages of hope and comfort. This is a message from Elder Russell M. Nelson, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of our Church.
As we let the Lord help us through, he will make the difference.
He will give strength in time of need.
Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
