The Children's Center

I have volunteered here in the past and was able to spend all day on Thursday with the children. IT is such a wonderful organization that provides services for children and their families. Some of these kids have suffered severe abuse and neglect; others have psychiatric or behavioral problems. In most cases these children feel are not understood but The Children's Center provides a safe place for these kids to just be kids. That is what I was able to see - kids having fun and being kids for a day. Truly one of the best volunteer experiences I have ever had.
