what I'd like to change

If you feel anything like me today - let's get our acts together and start hittin' up the gym.  

I'm know I'm not fat...but, after having people ask if I'm pregnant - 

I'm ready to change some things.  Either get pregnant or drop the lbs.  

I choose to just drop the lbs....  

yesterday, something happened. Seriously awkward... 

We were at my Dad's office for Spencer's ortho appointment

when out-of-nowhere my dad announced 

to everyone in the office 

that I was going to be a mom.  

I wished that lightning would strike me right-then-and-there.

Make it quick - PLEASE!! 

My face was burning up.

  

what an awkward moment to have to be present.  

then suddenly, sound came flooding into my ears.... "congrats" and "what, are you serious you didn't tell us sooner?!" and all sorts of pregnancy chatter.  

longest few seconds of my short life 

my mouth suddenly starting moving.  Trying to come up with words as fast as I could possibly get them out 

"No, I'm not going to be a mom"

*everyone looks confused,  awkward was pretty much vibe in the room* 

"what he meant to say was that I will be babysitting for my parents this weekend."  

then he laughed...gee, thanks a heap Dad....

sadly, some still didn't want to take "no, I'm not pregnant" for an answer...
making me feel like - yeah you look like you could still be pregnant.

FYI - you aren't going to be grandparents 

...unless I can think of a way to clone Jimmy over the weekend. 

Anyway, the lessons I learned from yesterday.

1.  I can't control other people or what they will say or their thoughts, even my own parents

2.  If you want people to continue asking you if you're pregnant - don't worry about going to the gym

3.  I need to go to the gym

*determination eyes - or angry eyes... I can't decide. 

4.  Spence is of no help when he has one of those really awkward lip separating mouth openers in 

5.  My parents have an obsession with babies and if they can't get a grandchild - I might just end up with another sibling.
