ramblings and a vacation

I'm taking some time off. 

Nothing much to do other than sit around on sandy beaches in California.  I've already realized that I have a lot of time to think about everything. Anything and everything. I don't have any answers, just more questions and lots of new freckles. 

So far, to fill my quiet time, I've read Finding Grace by Richard Paul Evans.  It was terribly, terribly sad.  I also realized that this particular book is part two of an ongoing series.  I was about twenty pages away from the end of it when my mom asked if I had read the first book called The Walk, so now I'm going to have to move backwards and read the first one. 

 Also I saw Moonrise Kingdom. What a film, what a film.  My sister and I can't stop quoting it. I'm totally fascinated with the depiction of childhood tangled into growing up and expectations. I really enjoyed the film and yes you should all go see it.
